This guide includes some of our top picks, what to bring, and bonus activities to turn your splash pad visit into a full day of fun.
Grab the sunscreen, a few towels, and maybe a dry change of clothes—and go make some memories. Whether you’re chasing toddlers through sprinklers or relaxing while the kids run wild, these local spots are perfect for soaking up the season.

- Spring Garden Park
Address: 3332 SW Spring Garden St, Portland, OR 97219
Features: 5-acre site, and with a splash pad, custom, nature-inspired playground design, walking trails, pcinic area/shelter, etc.
Noteworthy: Close to Multnomah Village restaurants, shops, and food carts. - Willamette Park
Address: 1100 12th St, West Linn, OR 97068
Features: 15-acre park with spacious splash pad and play area. picnic shelters, baseball field, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, river access including boat ramp, dock system, wading pool and more.
Noteworthy: Many West Linn festivals and events are held at this park since there are several covered shelters, gazebos and a stage. - Vancouver Waterfront Park
Address: 411 W Columbia Way, Vancouver, WA 98660
Features: Playground, picnic areas, historic memorial.
Noteworthy: Located near the Columbia River waterfront. - Salmon Creek Park/Klineline Pond
Address: 1112 NE 117th St, Vancouver, WA 98685
Features: Shaded areas, picnic tables, playground, and beach area. Lifeguards on duty during peak hours.
Noteworthy: The splash pad is part of a larger park with a pond for swimming and fishing. - Kʰunamokwst Park
Address: 5200 NE Alberta Street. Portland, OR 97218
Features: Beautiful nature-based play area in a neighborhood setting with accessible restroom, reservable picnic table, fully accessible pathway system and skate park.
Noteworthy: First Portland Parks and Rec park to have an indigenous name, respecting the history of this land. Look for the Native American story about chipmunks and pinecones, and related play structures! - Colonel Summers Park
Address: SE 17th Avenue and Taylor Street. Portland, OR 97214
Features: Splash pad, decorative picnic shelter enclosure, picnic tables, restroom.
Noteworthy: In the southwest corner of this park there is a huge rock, which came from Kelly Butte. This rock holds a bas relief image of Colonel Summers on a bronze plaque.

- Jamison Square Interactive Fountain
Address: 810 NW 11th Avenue. Portland, OR 97209
Features: The focal point of the park is a fountain which simulates a shallow tidal pool. Water cascades from stone joints into low pools as the fountain continuously recirculates treated water with energy-efficient pumps and motors.
Noteworthy: Along the edge of the park, are four 30-foot-tall sculptures covering the streetcar catenary poles; the Tikitotemoniki Totems, also known as Tiki Totems, were created by artist Kenny Scharf. - Peninsula Park
Address: 700 N Rosa Parks Way, Portland, OR 97217
Features: Rose garden, playground, community center.
Noteworthy: Historic park with a beautiful rose garden. - Cannery Square
Address: 22622 SW Pine St. Sherwood, OR 97140
Sherwood's newest park right next to City Hall in Old Town boasts a refreshing water feature complete with water cannons and cascading water falls.
Noteworthy: Cannery Square is also home to many Sherwood Community events including the Summer Reading Program shows. - Murase Plaza Park
Address: 8300 Memorial Dr, Wilsonville, OR 97070
Features: The Murase Plaza Playground was renovated in the Spring of 2015. The renovation included two new play structures and a 24-foot-long embankment slide.
Noteworthy: Located near Wilsonville Library - Town Center Park
Address: 29600 Park Pl, Wilsonville, OR 97070
Features: The water feature is a signature element of this park and features cascading water with a zero-depth entry pond and bubbler elements.
Noteworthy: In addition to the water feature, Town Center Park includes the Oregon Korean War Memorial
