Grateful for 2022!
For many, the end of the year is a time of reflection. We may find ourselves thinking about what was worthy of celebration, what constitutes change, what we will aspire to be, and for what and whom we are the most grateful. This year is no exception, and as I look back on 2022, I realize I have more than ever to be especially thankful for.
First and foremost, I am tremendously grateful for my family. My wife and I have had so much fun experiencing so many firsts throughout this year with our daughter, Georgie. I will never forget the first time she smiled at me or the first time she said, “Dada,” or the first time I heard her sweet little laugh. Her first real foods, learning to crawl, and most recently, her very first steps and first trip to the Zoo were all highlights from this past year with her. Watching Georgie learn and grow and develop her own little (big) personality has been easily one of the best things I will ever experience. There is truly nothing better than getting to be a dad – her dad – and realizing that this is only the first year of getting to love her. That realization comes with an almost overwhelming sense of gratitude and pure joy!

Another one of the greatest things in my life is my business. It is no secret that the market has changed quickly and dramatically this year. My team and I are so blessed to still have had a great year while so many in our industry are struggling. We are still on track to sell about the same volume of homes as we did in 2021 and I strongly believe it is because we operate from a place of abundance.

We find every way possible to give back to our clients and our community. From the thousands of dollars, we spend getting our clients’ homes ready to list, to the expansive marketing packages we utilize to really wow that perfect buyer, to the way we go above and beyond to spoil our past, present, and even future clients through our repeated promotions and various offerings each month. This abundance mindset has resulted in a multitude of clients that we are blessed to get to help every day and more listings than we have ever had, many of which are still selling at a healthy rate.
